Most SAT score gains come from a small number of high-leverage habits — not from doing more practice tests. Here's what consistently works.
Diagnose before you grind
Take one full timed test under real conditions. Then categorize every wrong answer: content gap, careless error, or pacing. You'll usually find two of the three dominate. Fix those first.
Short, daily reps beat marathon weekends
Thirty focused minutes a day, six days a week, will move your score more than a four-hour Saturday cram. The brain consolidates between sessions — give it the chance.
Review is where points are made
For every question you miss, write one sentence on why you missed it and one on what you'll do differently. That notebook is worth more than any prep book.
